    Road America Vintage Races

I was there too. I hadn't seen a LeMans Tiger at Road America since the 1990s. It's a well turned-out machine! The green #13 Tiger is a fast one on track and did well in its race Sunday. I drove my '67 Alpine to the track. I also saw a green Tiger from Minnesota and a yellow Tiger but...

Can you ID this door mirror?

I want to learn more about this door mirror on my Series V. I'd love to find another just like it. Does anyone know who made it, or if it's English or American? I've seen one other related post from the forum archives, but the photo link is dead. Todd Wisconsin

    SV heater wiring

I'm installing the original heater assembly in my SV. There's 2 wires on the blower motor. One has a ring terminal, which is for ground. Does the other wire go to the resistor that's mounted on the motor bracket? If it does, is it supposed to be soldered to the resistor? Todd

    AMCO scuff plates

Does anyone on the forum have AMCO scuff plates on their Alpine? I'm curious if they're attached to the door trim panel or to the door shell itself. Todd Wisconsin

    Tail lens

I've noticed the different tail lamp lens patterns too. Triumph TR4s can be found with either the circular or the vertical line patterns in the lenses as well. I find the lenses with the vertical pattern to be brighter than the circular kinds. My uneducated guess is that the vertical patterns...

    Stromberg damper oil frequency

Hodee: My Strombergs require topping off every 100 or so miles as well. Both have been rebuilt by me, then by a notable carb rebuilder as suggested by many on this forum. They still leak oil into the manifold. I'll figure it out someday, someday...

Mark B.: Thank you for the Grose-jet recommendation. I'm having way too many flooding problems with my CD150 lately. I plan to upgrade to those jets this winter. Todd Z.

    25-spline clutch alignment

SS has nothing for the 25 spliner. I went to NAPA and bought a universal clutch tool set instead. It didn't come with instructions, but after a few minutes of fiddling around I figured how the tool worked. I thought the alignment had to be really, really precise, but that's not the case...

    25-spline clutch alignment

Does anyone have advice on what tool I can use to align my Series V's 25-spline clutch? My local shops don't carry the traditional alignment tools anymore, just an OTC universal set. Todd Wisconsin

    1725 camshaft broken teeth

Hmmm.... that might explain why the distributor casting was broken when I bought the car. Sorrowful over the camshaft, however. :(
