1725 camshaft broken teeth

My 1725 Alpine's camshaft has 2 broken teeth on the oil pump/distributor drive gear. Can teeth be repaired on camshafts, or is it scrap?

No, they are trashed.

They probably broke by mixing different years cams and pump drive.
Some cams had 12 and others had 13 teeth.

Obviously mixing them would yeild horrific results to the gears.

Hmmm.... that might explain why the distributor casting was broken when I bought the car.
Sorrowful over the camshaft, however. :(
