More likely, another Alpine bites the dust. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Other-Makes...6270e5708&item=301302961928&pt=US_Cars_Trucks

And just what might one get out of it??? I see there is one bid?
I assume the $1000 is for the title and VIN plate, so someone hopes to make an Alpine into TAC'able Tiger.
Tom
My guess is title, VIN, firewall and transmission tunnel. And, surprisingly, the left side fender badge looks pretty good, too!
If that's really a Tiger then the firewall, rear axle, engine and transmission, front crossmember and steering, battery box, and of course, the VIN number are where the value is in this vehicle.
The Tiger crowd whines about 'fake' Tigers but this will make a very nice Alger/Tiger conversion that will be very hard to tell from the 'real' thing.
I looked at this poor car and felt sorry for the owner. Think of all the time, money, effort and loving care he put into it, then it ends up like this. This is the reason that alot of Tigers and Alpines, but especially Tigers, don´t get driven very much if at all.
I think the owner was at fault in the accident that caused this unfortunate incident to happen, since it looks like he hit something from behind, but I´m sure it still hurts. I hope he didn´t get injured in the accident too.
