Most of the body work is done except for some to the front valance. They had to fill the holes where the British plate mounted. It may get it's first coat of primer this week.

RHD egg crate grill

Another piece of the puzzle is back from the polisher. The grill looks real good.

Bill,
I made a drive to Reno to pick it up, had it polished twice and Jean is not sure if she'll like it in her car so it may go up for sale if she says no. I don't think $10.00 will be enough to buy it if she decides not to use it. Maybe a few dollars more?

Do I hear $15?

I think that would be a bit better offer than what Mr Bill made;)

Bill,
From what I've seen of your Alpine it does run down the road. If you need a Sunbeam project to keep you busy I'll drop off the 69 GT and let you install AC on it.

I'm about though with car projects. Way too much work and I don't have a lift.

I'd rather buy your egg crate grill. I'll up the ante to Dan's $15 and throw in a one owner starter that I'll guarantee will probably fit an Alpine.

The intake manifold and a dozen other parts arrived from LiBrandi's in Pa. They removed a lot of casting marks from the intake and polished it. They replated the three piece LeMans visor brackets along with the door latches and the gear shift lever. This shop has refinished or polished most of the mouldings, drip rails, chrome pieces and also made a spring bracket for the hatch.

A few other pieces of the puzzle are ready. The trans and over drive have been rebuilt also. I had the correct first gear for the non syncro trans so it was replaced along with just about all internal parts and the same was done to the over drive unit.
