Windshield Seals

Rick, the inner edge of all 4 pieces of the stainless trim should insert into the groove on the windshield seal. The top piece is a friction fit to the frame, and the 2 side pieces are pop rivited on, so non of those should come loose. The bottom piece fits into the groove in the windshield seal, and also into the same on the body to frame seal, that's the one I assume is loose. No sealant or cement should be necessary to get it to stay in place.

Thanks for the information, I was about ready to glue the dam thing on. I guess you have to start from one side and continue feeding the strip to the other side.

Thanks,

Rick

What I've done in the past is put it into the bottom groove and worked the top one over the trim using a small screwdriver blade. Just move it from one side to the other and twist it back and forth a quarter turn or so to pop it over the trim.
