Brothers from another mother.........woohoo.. if you were trying to pass for twins, it didn't work.
Special thanks to you 65beam for those 1st Class Trophy Winner PIC'sThe 1st place cars of the three classes.
I actually took a break during the show and called the guy who is doing the body work. My intent was to pull the plug and tell him that I would pick up the car on an upcoming trip to St. Louis. However, it turned out he actually did some work on it last week, for the first time in 2 years. There is still a lot to do, but I will go see him when I am in town and formulate a plan. He's actually done quite a bit of work (replaced one rocker panel and both front and rear valences, although he said he isn't happy with the front and wants to remove it and re-install it - it is just tacked on for now) but he still needs to repair a damaged rear quarter panel and then spend the time necessary to block and sand everything. I'd pull the plug anyway, but the reality is 1) he does great work and 2) it would probably cost me more to do the body work myself and have it painted here than he will charge me for everything. Still, I'm anxious to get moving on this, too and might bring it home anyway.Let's get that V6 going! How about a good start and show some PIC's? That is always good medicine for creating a desire to place extra efforts on a project
