Surely it's a supply chain issue
Well that and when was the last car produced with round headlights.
Always seems to have different meaning to different people. The last time I bought headlights, generic round 7" units were ten bucks, halogens about twice that. This was about ten years ago. Solve that issue with LED units that were about hundreds of dollars a pair. But I can now see to drive the Alpine at night.7" headlight "sealed beams" have always been very cheap (like $5-6) now they are like $30 for nothing special ! when did the price of GLASS jump so much ? LOL

Agreed the halogen lights while giving more illumination but also heat the wiring a bit more tooIf you still have the stock Sunbeam wiring you will want to add a relay to power the Halogen lights.
