I have a '66 series 5. will a turn signal assembly from a series 3 fit? Sorry, will the assembly from a series 2 fit?

I posted this on another forum and the answer is, no, it won't. Series 1&2 are the same, 3,4 &5 are the same.

Just in case you wanted to know.
