Yep! I kept expecting to get some kind of a back-ordered email but instead I got the actual part. Of course I'll also have the one Scott sent which will be useful since eventually I'll need it when I work on my green SIV. (Need to name them or something). I got the Tilton reservoirs, caps -- and all important 'O' rings -- separately. I think that was from RockAuto or Speedway. I can check the box if that helps. Now there will be nothing to stop me from stopping...

Nice! Me next :0 Ya, if it all seems to fit together would you mind posting the part numbers and where you got the reservoirs and O rings? Thanks

Oh, and another thing, are you replacing the stock brake/clutch hydraulic lines with new? Since I want to get rid of the old bulky and rusted booster, I'm thinking of getting rid of all the old lines and replacing them with new while routing them more appropriately. I would imagine brakes lines can be bought in bulk, cut, bent and flared in the home garage.

Checked the O'Reilly website this am, Part #11-1840 is Unavailable Online and Unavailable in Store, bummer.

However, just out of curiosity I clicked on the 'Also Available At' button and to my amazement it showed it actually was available at one store 65miles away from me. Called that store and sure enough the guy said he had only one left, the result of someone ordering two but only buying one but he couldn't hold it for me?. Had to run over to my closest O'Reilly store to have them procure it from the other store before it was sold, buy it ($45.99) and have it sent to the where house for shipping. Anyhoo I should have it in my hands this afternoon.

So, moral of the story is, it may show Unavailable anywhere but that may not be accurate. Click on that 'Also Available At' button.

Hi Mike,
Glad to hear you snagged one. Looks like I got my reservoirs and such from Pegasus Racing.

The reservoirs (I got smalls)

The caps:

The clamps:

The O rings I bought are here, but now I'm thinking I didn't need them and they are for remote mounted reservoirs. Bill Blue said he had really tighten the clamps to prevent leaks so you may want to look around on Pegasus and make up your own mind.

Another option that looked handy was the foreign object screen. I didn't get it because it didn't seem worth it for me, but YMMV.

The brake line I got from Speedway

The fittings and bleeders I bought from Autozone. I think some folks really like the Speed-bleeders but I'm too cheap to get them.

Last thing is the flaring tool from Sears. I had a cheapo one, but after reading some of the stuff on the forum I decided it was worth it to have a good one.

Of course I'm so slow that you'll probably order the stuff and have yours done before mine! :D

Almost forgot! It looks like I have an interference problem with the Nissan MC and my Series IV intake. I think taking the big spacer off will cure that problem, but I may have to modify the push rod.

Let me know how it goes for ya'

I asked John (knightowl61) and it sounds like Amazon finally delivered one to him. I guess it's modern alchemy that turns aluminum into unobtainium. ;)

Thanks Bill, as always a great help.

I ordered the reservoirs, caps, o rings and clamps from Pegasus already ( couldn't wait :)).

Well, every once in awhile you order something and what you get is actually better than what you thought you ordered. I thought I had ordered just the master itself as pictured online but what I got for $49 was the complete setup which includes the reservoirs, clamps, bleeder tubing and a couple fittings. Nice.

Those reservoirs look different from the 4oz ones with caps that I ordered from Pegasus though.

I don't think those are reservoirs, but adapters needed to use a remote reservoir.

Bill

Your correct Bill. The clerk at O'Reilly's mentioned if I needed it they could get me the complete 11-1840 setup for $150. I think what I have is what he was referring to.
