looking for 4 superlite rims 13x6 for my Alpine race car. Also looking for 4 good steel rims or other mag wheels for rain tires. If anyone has some for sale and could PM some pictures or call me. Or just bring to the invasion and we can make a deal.

Also would like to know what front springs are being used on alpine race cars, I would like to have the front lower. open to any ideas that work

I hope to have the car back on the track next summer. The car is the yellow number 53 owned by Geoff Tedder. He has retired from racing and I now have the car. this now makes 8 alpines and for now i do not think i can buy anymore cars.

Brad,

you can use the S3 prings from VB to lower the front a bit.. but for comp perhaps you want a stiffer spring. You could use drop spindles to lower the front and maintain the existing spring rate...

for wheels. look at wheels for ford escort/cortina.. 4 x 4.25 pattern.. the offsets are closer to alpines than other applications.

Bob: the rims you sold were put on the new tiger.

Rocco, i asked a question about anyone runnig dales toger springs inan alpine about 1 week back.. what rate did you get.. i know you track the car.. but whats the front like on the road? Did you cut the springs because the tiger front is heavier and the springs were lifting the alpine front end?

I believe that the springs are 650 lbs , I cut them to lower the car
The car drives great on the road if you like your car firm and responsive
but it is little low for the street , I only drive it on the street once in awhile
since it runs on race fuel at $10/gal
I will go and snap some pics of the rims a send them out
Thanks

Rocco : do you have any pictures of the rims? what are you looking to get for the rims? I do have someone that works in you area and could maybe pick the rims up and get them to me in Ohio.
Off to the Invasion this coming week, so not a big rush .
