Lots of work, and in my opinion a bit expensive - There was a very nice one of these for sale last year, fully registered (licensed) and in excellent condition for $11,000

Hi Vic,

There are a few of these around the clubs, but not as sort after. I agree with your comments, it would take alot of dollars to bring the car back from the state it is in. Even if you used it for parts, alot of the bits would need restoring before being used.

There is a nice one here in the States, currently $4,000, but less than reserve. How much do you suppose it would cost to finish this?

I figure the guy added up the cost of the various bits he needed and the cost of re-chroming and decided to bail.

Mk1 Alpine

That's a Mk I Alpine, a much more collectible car than the ST90 and will be worth a lot more when finished - If Ed Esslinger is watching, he would have a much better idea than me about costs and values
