SS Sun Visors

I purchased a set of sun visors from Sunbeam Specialties. I have the OE brackets in the car. The round outer brackets do no hold the tapered outer rod in place.

Has anyone dealt with these? Am I going to have to buy the SS brackets too?

Let me know,

First clean out the holes as best you can. Then mix up some quick drying two part epoxy. Then fill the holes with it. Wrap the ends of the visor shafts with saran wrap and maybe spraying the ends with a little WD 40. Jam the ends of the visor shafts into the epoxy that you have filled the holes with. Excess epoxy will squish out. Carefully arrange some support to align the brackets with the shafts so the visors will not move until it dries. Wait 24 hours without disturbing. Take the shafts out and clean up with a razor knife and/or fine steel
wool. Should be good to go.
