Hey Jan, while im sure you would notice, check watch its not the arrow range veruson. Iirc they had Hunter GT cast on a middle runner. The head mounting face on them is quite thin. You can make a slanted one worl on a vertical rootes motor, but its better to add a new flange thats wedged rather than trying to machine the existing to vertical as they have been known to fracture later as they get quite thin.I have one of those single Weber DCOE manifolds. It looks promising.

Bill,Doing just fine, proudly setting in the garage like the royalty she is. We have decided that we are going to treat her like the car she and refrain from using her as a daily driver. We have not had her on the road since we got home. That has nothing to do with the oil leak.

The Hunter GT was never sold in the states so where would Jan have gotten one with the name cast on it?Hey Jan, while im sure you would notice, check watch its not the arrow range veruson. Bob the LYNX manifolds are aftermarket, they here designed for the alloy head motors, they did 2 types a vertical and slant. The Hunter GT was never sold in the states so where would Jan have gotten one with the name cast on it?
The Rapier fastback was never imported to the states nor was the Vogue. The Alpine GT had many differences from the Rapier even though they shared the same body but the carbs and intake manifold, exhaust, brake system, interior, instruments / dash , etc. are all different from the Rapier fastback. U.S. specs versus the rest of the world. The LYNX intake would be difficult to use with the GT exhaust without fabricating something different than stock.Bob the LYNX manifolds are aftermarket, they here designed for the alloy head motors, they did 2 types a vertical and slant.
The slant one they cast Hunter GT onto it.. So if you had a rapier fastback, alloy head vogue, or any alloy head slant motor thats the one that would be used... They dont rename them for each model.
Much like the Stromberg manifolds for fastback bunter etc have a slant... So it could be either manifold jan has acquired as someome has obviously imported it at some point so it could be either
Yes, mine has the wedge machine in it, and yes, I came to the same conclusion. It's been sitting on the shelf now for 20 (?) years...probably....its better to add a new flange thats wedged rather than trying to machine the existing to vertical as they have been known to fracture later as they get quite thin.
