Were Series II Alpines ever offered as a GT model, ie hardtop only, no soft top? Thanks for your expertise.

Jerry.. the GT was introduced in the S3.. no GT ever had a soft top... The GT always has the rear seat area.Only Series III GT had the hardtop only/no soft top configuration.

Dan no GT had a soft top from factory. They have the rear seat instead.I have a SIV GT BW35 early serial last four 0766 that had all of the GT trim and other options with out the soft top.
There was no GT in series I/ II just the option of a hardtop. Were Series II Alpines ever offered as a GT model, ie hardtop only, no soft top? Thanks for your expertise.

Michael,On S3 a detuned engine as they had the cast manifold instead of headers.
No the later GT uses the standard cast with 2 down pipes.Michael,
The s3GT was a single outlet cast manifold, did that manifold continue with the later series GT models?
Just curious,
Meaning my Early Series IV is a Factory GT with all of the options (it did not and still does not have a Soft Top, it does have the rear sear area) including all of the GT trim.I either mis typed or I have been misunderstood in POST 4. Here is what I wrote: "I have a SIV GT BW35 early serial last four 0766 that had all of the GT trim and other options with out the soft top."
Dan to clarify you don't have all the GT options... They are all the standard GT parts ...I have a later GT standard cast with 2 down pipes, if anyone is interested (BO)
