Seat Covers

check with a local auto upholstery shop. They may be able to recover your seats for less than the price of covers from SS. I have had good success with a local shop here in my home town inSD.

I looked for alternatives and failed - but bought a (complete) set from Rick.

On my first Sunbeam I put Miata seats in - and while I love the fit of the Miata seats (and security of a headrest) - I missed the authentic look (for about 4x the cost of Miata seats sadly).

Presuming this link works for pictures of my refurbishment last week. Took about 3 days on/off including electrolysis rust removal. Most challenging part is getting the back covering tight at the bottom with the screws. Everything else was easy.

I just finished this same project Mike. It's a challenging job, and another one that I'd like to go back in time to the factory and see how they did them, and what adhesives they used. It took forever to get them done with all the stops and starts to glue pieces together.

I put Pantera seats with head restraints in mine. I gave a picture of stock Alpine seats to a shop in Arizona that duplicated the look plus did the restraints. They look great.

I have never used SS's carpet, but I have re-carpeted twice with cheap carpet from eBay. One I bought and one came with a parts car I'd purchased. Neither lasted or looked good for long. I won't cheap out on carpet again. Cheap carpet is cheap.

Cheap stuff

Good work is never cheap and cheap work is never good. Been there and done that. It's a lesson that all car guys learn sooner or later....usually later.
