roller rocker valve adjustment

I have a series 5 that I am putting roller rockers on this week. Would that effect the stock valve adjustment? There seems to be a difference of opinion among my learned friends. I also just put in the KB grind cam from Delta.

Thanks,

Certainly not more than the factory figures.

If you go less then you stand the chance of burning a valve if the clearance drops to zero. If you carefully adjust everything hot, and monitor the lash often, you can get away with tighter clearances. YMMV.

I'd stick with factory figures to start.

Would it "affect" it? The valve lash for the KB cam (recommended by Delta as printed on the shipping box) is .014"/.014", not the factory lash of .012"/.014". Now if you are asking is there any difference in valve lash between a roller rocker vs the factory rocker, I would say probably not. Why would there be any difference?
