Rocker Cover Nuts Torque Value

I am going to replace the rocker cover (a.k.a valve cover) gasket on my series V with a cork gasket. I do not see a torque value for the nuts listed in the WSM. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike

You just go by feel. Less than 8 for sure, its a 1/4 inch fastener.

Less if you are using a cork gasket, more if paper.

Fwiw I would use a small bead of sealant on both sides.. Put on the underside of the gasket against the head and on the rocker cover. Don't overtighten a cork one as jarrid said finger tight till you get resistance and then maybe a half turn
