What do most folks recommend for a tandem master cylinder with no booster, stock calipers and wheel cylinders, with V6 conversion?

I like the Datsun Z brake masters, have also used Ford Courier which worked well - both relatively easy fit to mount on firewall and easy mod of push rod. Also recommend you research residual pressure valves. Another great idea is the 6:1 pedal ratio upgrade which greatly reduces effort to push the brake pedal for larger diameter brake master cylinders.

For the Tiger those solutions are great. For the V6 Alpine, steering box and valve cover has clearance issues.

Yes, cylinders with right hand outlets have engine clearance problems, that can, at times, be overcome. Bottom facing outlets interfere with the steering column, which seems to be fatal. Don't know of anyone overcoming that problem. I found that 13/16" diameter cylinders were barely acceptable, 7/8" just too damn big. 3/4"work just fine. 6:1 pedals work fine, but are difficult to make and I know of no commercial source. I found that to do it right, a new pedal box has to be make. A lot of work.

Im using a Hyundai Pony dual outlet M/C sourced from Rock Auto doesn't come with the plastic reservoirs however, Tilton ones fit
13/16 and the outlets are on top. You will need the Sunbeam M/C spacer. Another V6 car I did years ago used the Tilton Resv
