Simply put, it is a high performance fan that is readily available, reasonably priced, very close to the correct size, well configured for the Alpine and easily modified.

I used one with the PintoPine and the Duratec powered Alpine. They are pretty much standard for use in the V6 swap.

For the Volvo fan with adapter kit, contact dmitch2 (Dennis Michaliga) on this forum. itis a great kit and reasonably priced.

Roger. The fan I use is from the 1976-1982 Volvo 240. Look for the Aisin part # 1317465.
