I have a New Vehicle Data plate that is absolutely beautiful for sale. It is the one that you would take to your print shop or engraver and add your vehicle ID number and Paint Code. I bought two, in case I screwed one up and I did not after all --- what luck. So I am selling the spare for what I paid for it. $45shipped domestically free. If you want a picture, send me a PM or email and I will email to you.

Plate?

The last guy to sell a VIN plate on ePay got it yanked. They are a fair substitute but the ink does not stay dark like the Letraset vinyl cling ones a hobby seller makes. Stock was a silkscreen like on the spec plate. It is not a data plate it's a vin plate. Don't take my word for it look up the rules on CA DMV or your state . In California there is a DMV sanctioned way to do it. Just cause 97% don't follow the law doesn't make it OK. Alpines have a hard font to stamp for a reason and your later cars do not have a secondary ID bad thing to rush into. Greenbean I'd save the spare as the lettering will turn grey in a couple of years as it's probably plain old inkjet or some other home brew.

I got it from the guy in England and have gotten them for other vehicles and he has never had a negative note that I have seen. Yeah, there are laws that state what you can do with a Vin tag, but I only use my for show, not legal authenticity. I always maintain the original Vin tag and can re-rivit it back on so that the Block Number matches the Vin tag number --- no illegal intentions made, only beautification of the engine compartment ;)
