Uhhhmm, Kelly he's new to the Darkside, not the forum.
Take it easy on the poor guy.... Since he's finished his car, he has trouble focusing on anything other than driving it!
Alright, alright...who knew? Nice car regardless.
Michael, these are 14x6 Ford Grenada/Mustang steel wheels with baby moons.what are the wheels off? they are very interesting, i assume wide steels?
Lol, probably true and I don't blame him. So Kelly, are you thinking of the next project yet? I know every time I've finished building something I knew that now that I have experience the next one was gonna be even better.
Buck, great looking Conversion. Can we get some more pics? Where and how did you get the car?

Mike, this was a California car which was stored in a garage for 25 years, then was in Kansas for a while. The next owner moved it to Vermont and experienced engine problems. He had a Ford dealership service manager and vintage car buff do the Jose 2.8 conversion with T-5. He had placed the car for sale on the forum early last year and I was able to buy it last fall. The exterior and interior were pretty rough but everything was solid underneath with no rust. I thought the conversion was very well done and was happy to have gotten it. I had it painted the original color code 58.

I am trying to find out if I have to beef up the front end of the Alpine V to take this engine.
Will the stock springs carry a 500lb load?
