Just make sure you tell him how the engine and carburetion is set up and he'll set the distributor up accordingly.

This here is the smoke an mirrors aspect to the recurve business.
You just CANT know how much timing an engine needs that you didnt build, and understand the combustion characteristics to.
Anyone who tells you otherwise is full of tripe.
Better yet, YOU tell the recurve folks what it is YOU want, and see to it that it happens.
If you want a stock curve, give them the data.
If you have a race engine, give them the data for how you want it to function IE the curve characteristics.
The bottom line is that you dont want THEM to tell you what you need, honestly, they have no clue.
Every engine type is different in regards to needed advance rate and needed vacuum advance VS load, and we dont use SB chevy engines.
