reserve not met

I saw a bid earlier of $3,000 and the reserve was still not met. I think since then that bid was reversed?

Seller reports someone who entered fake bids just to see what the reserve was, then cancelled them, saying he'd made a "mistake."

Current bid $3,500 with 10 minutes to go, and still not at reserve. Obviously the guy's no fool. (Maybe he should have started by selling the mirror!)
