Here is an article about the James Bond Alpine that I've never seen before. Interestingly, it notes that there were two of them - one in Jamaica (on the road scenes) and one in England (at the studio lot with the fake driving shot close ups).

Hirst’s son Michael remembers the Alpine as being “absolutely standard”, but the Sunbeam’s 100mph top speed was more than enough to deal with 1962-vintage cinematic villainy.
