The first trip today was a beautiful drive out to Leiper's Fork and then on to Franklin. A fun lunch at Country Boy's Restaurant concluded with the deep fried Elvis pie (peanut butter and bananas in a deep fried pie crust).
Later in the evening we headed over to JD's British Cars for the NBCC reception and got a chance to meet the group putting on the car show tomorrow, and see JD's awesome shop. He's got quite an operation going, with loads of British cars being worked on. The hospitality has been great. Everyone is looking forward to the show tomorrow, with predicted sunny skies and 80 degree temps!
Steve, Ann Marie and Paul enjoying the reception.
