Sorry, I have about three threads open here.
I am up on my restoration project. I can't find any one that wants it all so I'm parting it out
Series III body panels (solid hood trunk and doors)
Series v chassis (good not perfect floors)
Both series v and III full suspensions and drivelines (non od transmissions) engines to rear ends all scrapped!

As I sort my parts I will post up pics and discriptions, check back often, feel free to inquire on anything.
Stuff is in warren mi
Call or text 586-604-3923
Or pm (I'm not good with keeping up on PMs)

Very good condition center zip tonneau cover. Not sun baked, very flexible, material around the grommets is good, no rips, no tatty edges, just some staining on the back side.
In general it seems to be good quality and good condition
On eBay now

Again, check back often. I have a lot yet to post up for sale.
I admit I by no means am an expert on pricing so if I have something you want and you feel I'm high on price, please feel free to make me an offer, I take no offense.

Sv gas door $50 shipped
Pitted but functions perfectly, has a nice firm spring when unlatched, cap seal and base seal seem to be in good condition as well

Lots of parts etc.

Ghoul: I think you might want to research your pricing either on line or in the catalogs, such as Sunbeam Specialties or Victoria British or Classic Sunbeam. As a for instance, you could buy a shiny brand new gas cap from SS for $79.60 or $79.95 from VB and still be under your price, including shipping. A brand new headlight bucket, including the wiring and plug is $91.40 from SS and is $69.95 from VB. Again your price for a used one is a lot more.

I have been building cars and motorcycles since I was 14 years old and am now 70 ( and still doing it ). I have bought and sold a lot of car parts over the years, mostly used stuff to save money. As a GENERAL rule, if the used stuff is in very good, useable condition, the price is usually 1/2 to 2/3 the cost of a new piece. For a used part that requires some repair or is rusty or caked with grease, the price goes down accordingly. If you are just intent on cleaning house or the garage, cheap prices will make the stuff disappear quickly. There are exceptions to this of course, if the item is a rare one or extremely difficult to find, price it accordingly. Especially if it cannot be purchased from any other source and is not reproduced.

I do not criticize you or your pricing. You indicated you weren't knowledgeable as to what prices to ask. This information is meant to educate and give you some basis for pricing your parts. I hope it is helpful.

I did research the headlight buckets and felt half the price of new shipped to you was a fair stating point.
I will go back and adjust the price of the cap accordingly.
I appreciate the advice but I have way too much to move and want it cleaned out as soon as possible so researching each and every piece would be a nightmarish task and would take forever.

I'm easy going so as stated if there is any thing you want and I'm way off base please pm, email or text.
I'm honestly not trying to gouge any one but the first rule of negotiation is start high, settle low. This is especially true when I offer shipping included which could very well be across the country..

Again, please, any thing your interested feel free to pm me, tell me I'm out of line and toss me an offer.
