how much blowby is normal?

I fitted a solid tappet cover to my Ser V with the only crankcase ventilation being through the oil filler neck to flame trap to air filter nipples via stock Y hose. Anybody think this a big NO NO? About 1000 miles like this and runs very well. If anything, maybe running a bit "dirty" from sucking blowby back into the cylinders.

Do you get fumes in the cabin? I noticed a big increase in cabin fumes with no working PCV or draft tube.

No cabin fumes more or less than previous set up. The air intake through the carb/air filters pulls the fumes/blowby to be reburned. Anybody else running this way?
