If you ditched the carbs and installed DCOE compatible throttle bodies you would gain 2.5 inches.

Also for all but the smallest boost levels, going without an intercooler is bad becuase even the Holday(sp) engine is extremely knock limited and higher inlet temps will yield a poorer knock threshold.

Lastly for purposes of efficiency I'd not run a supercharger as they rob power from the engine 100% of the time whereas a turbo becomes an increased burden only when on boost. A teenie turbo with engine management could yield sizable power improvements while keeping lag very small.

Personally I'd keep the compression high (at 9/1) and run only to 5psi boost.
Engine timing would have to be reduced to around 20 degrees at 5psi and timing MUST be boost related (IE no mechanical only distributor).
Such a setup could yeild a very reliable 160hp while keeping the revs below 5000.

Just my humble opinions though.
