Head Porter experienced with 2.8 wanted

Anyone have contacts with someone who knows how to port and flow 2.8 heads?

Any idea of pricing?

Kelly Mathis and I have had good success with Bob McKray Performance in Mission Viejo CA, and another SAOCA member has some V6 heads in for work now. Bob is a very friendly, old school guy and has been doing head work most of his career.

Price for mine was very good at around $900 for name brand parts & providing labor:

Pressure test
New valves
New springs
New locks
New retainers
Valve grind
Port & polish on a flow bench

not as bad as I thought

I was actually thinking of doing myself

I had access to a flow bench in school and did a set of Olds 455 heads

I have been researching how to build an inexpensive flowbench for the project

<$500 but it depends on what my time is worth and learning curve and ego and other projects etc

I'm in Santa Cruz, CA so at least its in the same state or coast
