Gas pedal for suspended linkage

I'm currently mounting a Locar gas pedal and using one of their cables. The cable is located and installed and am working the bracket to mount the pedal.

I chose a gas pedal that fit a 72 chevy blazer. I used to have a blazer and remembered it had the offset I needed to align it with the holley carb on the 2.8. I mocked it all up using a stock blazer pedal assy I bought for $5 and am happy so far, and am moving to final mount build and assy. I hope to have it installed over new years weekend. I'll post pics (if it works).

Lokar gas pedal installed. Both the lower pedal arm and the upper fulcrum arm are adjustable by moving the arm on a splined axle. As mentioned below, the mount was recycled from a '72 Chevy PU. It was cut apart, located and welded.
Pics attached.

That looks real nice. I used a pedal from an old 1972 ford pu that I had stuffed away. bending and welding the mount as needed, not as pretty but not as expensive either..functional! I guess when you are in a rush to drive it you don't want to wait for another part to get shipped, and once it's in you don't want to remove it again.

If it's any help, I built my gas pedal out of an old brake pedal. idle to full in 2 inch travel. I also rebuild my pedals with bushing "0" play and bent them for more shoe clearance, I wear size 12. The thing that helped the most, was to cut off the pad and cut about 1 inch out and re-weld.

I used a gas pedal from a Nissan that I got from the junkyard . Had to modify quite a bit so not recommending it.
