Just a comment. As most know, the tranny is not a T5, but a TK5 (Toyo Koygo). I had one in the Orange car. Great shifting transmission, but equipped with a horrible 3.96:1 low gear. Mine was for the 4 cylinder engine and sat tilted towards the right. Resulted in a wider than usual tunnel. It comes equipped with a separate bell housing and some have questioned using this bell housing to mount a T5. As far as I know, no one has attempted it. Here is one waiting for some brave soul to give it go.
