I may be missing something fairly obvious but what is the significance of the gear rating adjacent to the Username? I have searched the FAQ pages but cannot find a reference.

Hello Tony - it's simply an indicator as to number of posts made on this forum. At the moment I can't find a reference for you as to how many it takes to move between gears, but it's simply a counting device and perhaps an indicator as to how much time we waste at work looking at and posting on this forum. :)
