Dash SIII vs. SV differences

I am sure that there are many differences between the Series III dash and the Series V dash, anyone care to give me a clue as to how many changes I will need to make to a SIII to fit an SV? I am getting the .dxf for a SIII and will need to change it for a SV as I will be ordering a machined dash for my SV.

On those 2 dashes all the holes for gauges and warning lights etc are in the same spots.

the difference was cosmetic between them.. different heater and dash switch escutcheons, warning light spares (round v rectangle) and the S3 had raised areas for the gauges. But the the locations etc are all the same.. so no issue there.

Also, although the mounting locations are the same, If I recall correctly, one used captured nuts with machine nut threads, and one used threaded screws through the metal.

And, to repeat what Michael said, the mounting of the heater levers is not the same. You need to match one or the other.

Thank you,
On the SV (and SIV) the dash is screwed in using large oval head sheet metal screws. I am not concerned about the heater controls as that is one of the reasons I am going to a new dash, I am installing a Vintage Air unit and the controls are very different. The center gauges, warning lights and switch holes will be relocated slightly too. All of my warning lights are 0.5" LED's, I am adding a 4th and maybe a 5th gauge to the center (a clock and perhaps an oil temp or fuel pressure gauge). The location of the OEM clock has been taken by the Boost gauge.
Thanks again
