Center arm rest

[Alpine 1789]

I saw this arm rest on eBay a few weeks ago and have been wondering if the padded back section was original. I don't ever recall seeing the back padded, but this one looks stock. Worn, but stock. Were they ever sold this way?

This looks correct although it will need a lock and key which should match the one on the boot lid.

Jim I think the GT alpines may have had that part padded to blend the armrest into the rear seat area. ,

My origional GT Alpine had a padded rear pad that lined up with the rear cushion/seat

Interesting... I've only seen that back portion padded in a few cases and it may have been on GTs. Maybe a GT only option? I repaired mine (non GT), with a kit from Classic Sunbeam and it only was supplied with padding for the front part... hinged door.
