Car body parts, that is. Planning on getting the old car painted and need to get a few pieces. Is there something somewhere that translates American English terminology into English English - or visa versa? Not sure about Canadian and ANZAC English but I am guessing it would be good to know those too. Thanks

Some of the common U.S to U.K. names are: hood is the bonnet, trunk lid is the boot lid, fenders are wings, rockers are sills, soft top is the hood.
