Just went to an auto jumble on sunday and got a Binks Bullows 230 spray gun for £3 ($6). I have no idea what this gun is like or the operating pressure but it is in very good condition. Anyone know??

Jon, The Binks is an old company here in the U S of A. Once you clean it real well, and start the pressures 25-45 pounds US, with water to see the operation . Really was and still is a good sprayer .. If it works, fences, houses to cars it will do the job.

While I use many different spray guns painting for the studios here in Hollywood I have never heard of that particular model. Realize that Binks made guns intended to spray a vast variety of materials from contact adheasive to Christmas tree flocking. Automotive finishes to rust inhibitive coatings. All of which were of different viscosities and sometime actually not even liquid. (flocking is dry and blown on a wet tree)

Send me a picture of the needle and the air and fluid heads as well as the numbers stamped on the nozzles and I'll tell you what it's for.
