I was wondering if anyone has tried a Jag XJ6 gas cap on later series Alpine? This one was fitted to a Hillman Husky.

The XJ6 caps are a different profile design than the sunbeam ones. I saw 2 fitted years ago to a series V where the owner modified for a filler each side .. so he may have made the factory recess different too.
