Welp, I went for it and finally bought myself a Currie 9" to replace my 7.5" rear end. As a result I am selling my old rear end to help offset the staggering price of the new one.
What you get:
An axle tube vent.
What you are on tap for:
Sorting out the shipping part of the deal. I can come up with some type of a minimal crate / wood frame for shipping but the rest is on you.
What you need to do:
PM me if you are interested. Let me know what it is worth to you and we can work from there.
Thanks,
Brian
What you get:
- Bolt in 7.5" posi rear end with 3.45:1 gears
- 4x4.25 bolt pattern on the axles
- Only about 2000 miles on rear end
- Never been beat by burnouts or hard launches
- Aluminum lowering blocks (1") which not only lower the car but also encapsulate the leaf springs to keep them from sliding side to side
- Chromed backing plates
- Chrome rear cover
- Drum brakes (every part was new when I built the rear end)
- Painted red leaf springs (if you want them). They don't sag!
- All E-brake cables from the hand brake to the rear end (minus the 2 cables to 1 connection. I am sure you can do better than I did on your build).
- Driveshaft yoke
- The original rear end tag (although the rear end looks much different now than when I got it)
- Grade 8 U bolts and a 1/2" stainless steel bolt plate for each side
An axle tube vent.
