The AU national meet ran from friday to monday this weekend past... great event.. lots of sunbeams and lots of fun.

some very quick pics.. lots more to come. We were in Ballarat in country Victoria.. mostly dry.. but VERY cold

we had 16 Tigers in the 40+/- group of sunbeams. and a selction of marque alpines (talbot based), sunbeam talbots, rapiers, alpines and even a fastback and Talbot Lotus Sunbeam.

A superb video - thanks for posting it. There was one Tiger with wire wheels which were never a standard fitment due to their inability to handle the torque. It would be interesting to know a bit more about this car.

they are 72 spoke dunlop wires (bolt on). The issue the tigers has really was with the stock alpine wires.. they are weak and not enough spokes and even alpines break spokes on them.

Get some nice strong wires with more spokes and they are fine.. think aston DB series cars, e-types, healey 3000.... more spokes and stronger.
