I read an article where they used a computer progran the showed all but one viewing angle reveals that all the ramps go down hill. I think the angle of the supports beneath the ramps have something to do with the illusion.

That's a damn good illusion. Its interesting that as he rotates it you can get an idea of what he has done, but does not reveal how.

Huh, just like me working on my car. I can see what I did but can't figure out how I managed to do that.
