That is a very nice looking gazelle cabriolet....and the options rootes special accessories.... very nice ...but while i think you cant build one that nice for the price.... I don't see it being an easy sell at that price

I agree, Michael. The market just isn't there, though this certainly is a nice example. For maybe half that price it would be tempting to a few folks, but it's just way overpriced as it is.

I had the same issue with my 1949 Triumph Renown when I sold it last summer - the car was beautifully preserved... zero rust, ran great, rode superbly like the limousine it was... just needed some interior work on the front seats where the seams were parting. But I only was able to pull just short of $9K, which I think was really good, considering the market. Fortunately I'd owned it for over 40 years and had paid very little for it originally - indeed, it cost me more to bring it here than I paid for it.... I think my shipping from the UK to the US was about $950. Took my wife home from our wedding in it, took the kids to proms in it, had countless picnics from its boot... even loaned it to the Simeone Automotive Museum for a while.... I figure I got all those years of enjoyment from it, so it didn't owe me a dime.

Yes, it’s too bad rare doesn’t translate into more dollars for these cars. There are not many, especially in this condition and originality.
