Does anyone know the correct paint color for the reddish orange needles on the Jaeger gauges? If so, where can the paint be purchased? Thanks for any help.

I've used Testors fluorescent Red ( # FS28915) model car paint. It's almost a perfect
match!

Be aware that with Testors model paints the parent company has discontinued the whole line so finding the mentioned color will be difficult. Most hobby places, if they still have the Testors display out will have very little in them.

As a follow up, my search resulted in finding Testors Flourescent Red immediately on eBay. Lots of it. Take your pick of spray can or brush-on. There are also marker pens but I didn't pursue them. I bought a 2/3 oz bottle for $5 with free shipping. Thanks again for your input.

Im sure it's in previous threads...but go Light on thr application .. The needles are sensitive and a thick application of paint can adjust the movement ... Also make sure it's not sticky as it may cling to the neeele stop.

Thanks for the info. I plan to use it on the hands of a SMITHS clock. Probably not as critical as Speedo or tach needles.
