Don, I am currently removing the Chevy V6 and S10 T5. Bill does not need it nor I.

The engine is not a really good one but the T5 is an excellent one!

If anyone wants the engine it is a free one just come and get it. Fuel Injection and all the wiring for it is there. The T5, bellhousing, flywheel, clutch ad stock slave cylinder will be available for anyone willing to pay a fair price.

Dan, Looking for a T5 since i am having an issue finding a shifter for a T9. Mike Shriner has one in his Alger and the shifter comes out in a better location than the T9. Pm you. Happy 4th1

$500 and it has a nice shifter and boot. Throw in the bellhousing and flywheel.

FINAL EVALUATION
Got the insurance payout check. Total in my pocket $9282.10. The adjuster was willing to repair the car, but we could not find anyone willing to take it on. The adjuster went ahead and ran it through as a $10,000 repairable, which he said put about another $1000 in my pocket. All I know is that while figures don't lie, liars figure. I am somewhat satisfied, I was afraid the payout would be $5,000. There are nice Alpines begging to be sold for $12,000 and I doubt that many here would have paid $10,000 for my car. I will be able to assemble another Duratec car for way less than $9,000, but paint is going to kill me. But then the old car was in need of a paint job. Go figure.

Bill,

Glad to know that you have a way forward to get back on the road. Any idea when you will be able to pick up the white car from Dan?

Dan is going to deliver it. Just when, nobody knows. A couple of old codgers working their way down long "to do" lists. My timetable calls for me to get it in time to wash. treat and undercoat the undercarriage, then get it too the body shop for paint before cold weather. Dan, he's too busy to develop a time table.
