Hi, just tried hydrodipping. Thought it turned out pretty good. Cinnamon base paint with redwood hydro transfer. They make all kinds of patterns, like carbon fiber etc. Easy way to get a nice finished look.

It appears you a dipping a series 3 dash, are you just wanting the effect of the timber, or this is an alternative to buying a GT dash?harder than it looks.. need to retry again. Paprika base, dark wood grain sheet.
I take it she doesn't know you're using the bath for car parts!! I had my engine in my tub once, but that was in the 80's before I was married. It looks like that combination is going to look very pretty.Timber effect is cheaper (and more interesting) than a new GT dash, it needed a spruce up anyway.
Cleaned off the print with meths (denatured alcohol) ready to give it another go in the bath when the wife's at work.
If postage wasn't such a total sh1tshow from states at the moment I'd be interested.... Our club president helped me with a box in late November... Postage was eye watering.. and I'm used to sending things.. between that and the currency conversion... It's choose very wisely these days.... Urgh...I have two new quality-made burlwood GT Tiger dashes available, one with a matching cubby door and the other without. I'll be offering them here first before I list on FB or elsewhere. Maybe yet this week.
