Just for the Record.... My 75 MustangII had the spare mounted lying flat in the trunk.

That does appear to be a Pinto or MII under side. What everone is saying is a spare tire well is actually the end of the front subframe rail. The position of the fuel tank is consistent with the Pinto and I believe the MII.

From what I can find, the Alpine wheelbase is 86", the pinto is 94.4" and the MII is 96.2"

That is a Mustang II front end. It's the same as the one on my car. Don't like that hood scoop, but I do like the way the back package tray was removed to give the car more interior space. Not crazy about the battery in there though.
