Jim,

Good job. I think you will be happy with your new toy.

You have a great group of Sunbeam guys in your area, and next year's Invasion will be in your backyard, I'm looking forward to seeing your car there. You couldn't have picked a better time to get an Alpine.

I'm confused. Where is next year's Invasion being held? Can't find the location and date.

thanks, i saw that on the site yesterday when i was poking around, next summers meet is going to be here in mpls, they just dont have a time and date for sure, who is in charge of the club here? the triumph, VTR, had there national event a few years back at a casino about and hour south of mpls, not a bad venue but its out in the country. i would suggest the 3rd week in june when the mn street rod assoc has there once a year show at the state fairgrounds, there are between 12 and 15,000 1964 or older cars at this event every year and the alpine meet could just be at a nearby venue since not all of them are old enough to enter but it is great car veiwing.

Hi Jim,

Are you having the Alpine shipped to you, or are you planning on driving it home? I'm sure it would drive home to your place without any problems, since it is done right. If you want to have fun, drive it home. it will love the open road.
