    I'm looking to put a V6 in my series 2. My mechanic says I need a 74-78 Mustang II V6 2.8L bellhousing (casting # D4ZA-6394-CC) and possibly a flywheelwould be nice. Any one ? Bellhousing and fly wheel ? Without, I'm dead at the start line for this project Thanks everyone

    15 inch wheels / 1962 sunbeam

    Thanks for reply. Still not clear if I can buy 15 inch knock off wheels ( Mag style ) for my series 2. I run with 13 inch tires now andI just want bigger wheels in the original knock off style for my series 2. If I have to modify the wheel wells or change to lug nut then I will stick with my 13...

    What is tube from Intake Manifold for ?

    Series 2 alpine - There's a 6 inch copper tube that sticks out of the bottom of my intake manifold . Does any one know it's purpose?It looks like a breather or overflow tube.     Gas shoots out of Carb Right, sorry. Its a 1962 series 2. Twin Zenith carburettors, I believe. Gas comes shooting strait out of where the "strangler" (choke ) sits over. Like a fountain. Thanks for your help
