I didn't make the opening comments to discourage you. I hope you continue to look for a Good Alpine and continue on with your plans. My intent was to help keep you from wasting a lot of money, then get discouraged and quit the project. The V6 Alpine is definitely worth doing, and it will be a much better car than your old MG.
