Needing help in placing the “drape” that holds the top when lowered. Also the two straps that seem to be for support of the lowered top. I’m thinking the heavy bead on the “drape” gets tucked into the track right below the bow that keeps the rear of the top in place, but at a loss as to where F90E98BA-7B63-4F0F-AE59-B1C8F1007513.jpegthe straps go and final assembly.0A7E9DCB-7B67-43EB-A9D6-1ABCAA97EA05.jpeg46B7FBD4-206E-47E9-A7FE-87FA9582EEF4.jpegF2A0FF34-6D9C-4E42-86BF-61179C1590C5.jpeg4AC48563-82F8-482F-B4AA-AB793FD65E48.jpeg

The drape is riveted in in the trunk and the weight goes in the bottom of the soft top storage area. When you look at the panel that holds the trunk hinges inside the trunk you will see the lip hanging down that you rivet the curtain to. The straps are for the boot top when the top is up.

The straps arrangement was explained to me as shown in the photos below, so I assume that is how they work to hold up the soft top boot cover. They rivet to the wall that the soft top boot attaches to. The front edge of the drape should have a plastic/rubber piece attached that has a groove in it to press in along the short wall behind the wall that the padded trim goes on and the soft top boot attaches to. The other side of the drape is riveted as already explained.

OK. I'll have to find a new aluminum filler strip for the drape so I can rivet it in place. Back out to the garage! Pic's were a great help too.
Thanks

I think you are mixing two different things - the trunk curtain and the straps for supporting for the soft top cover.

The trunk curtain finishes off the top area of the trunk. Rivets up top and the rubber strip presses onto a lip above the rear vertical section of the trunk. The trunk curtain has nothing to do with the soft top cover straps.

Here's a good thread on the straps: https://forum.sunbeamalpine.org/index.php?threads/soft-top-cover-straps.28635
