I'm looking for a series V top boot. If you have one, please let me know the condition and price.

Is there anyone who sells them new?

Hi Mike,

You might want to have a custom one made, since your Alpine isn't stock. I had a local upholstery shop make me one and it looked great. and the cost wasn't too expensive either. The shop put a thin layer of foam between the upper and lower pieces of vinyl, which gave it a nice smooth look, giving the cover some ridigidty so it didn't sink into the spaces where there was no support.

Jose :)

Jose, everything in the cockpit is stock.

That aside, what material did you use.

I've checked the Sunbeam dealers and the listing for Top Boot, show a tonneau, so I'll have to contact them after the holidays.

Thanks,
Mike

Sunbeam Specialties lists them under upholstery panels. Click for page two at the bottom right corner of the first page. They are shown as vinyl boot for soft tops part # uk85s (smooth grain) or uk85p (pebble grain). Jeff

I had the upholsterer us a black vinyl with a small patern. It was nothing special, but with the thin foam rubber in it, it looked like a million dollars.
